The look and sound of Chivalry 2 has the feel of a AAA game production. A well-realised vision of chaotic war in the Middle Ages is executed with strong mechanics, ridiculous blood and gore, with just the right amount of snark and humour to round it all off. But Chivalry 2 is the studio’s return to form. Their last game, Mirage: Arcane Warfare didn’t do too hot. Torn Banner has released Chivalry 2, the sequel to the mod-turned-full-game Chivalry: Medieval Warfare. It would bring at least 6 people I know back to this game as well as so many more.There’s a strong genre niche for first-person medieval warfare that I have been sleeping on. It would be kick ♥♥♥ in this game! Please add it! I've been wanting it for years. It always held a playbase but never could achieve the numbers that they have now until they added that ranked 5 v 5 system. CS use to become stale as well for the same reason this does and then you just play it here and there but there's no esport behind it. I only mention CSGO because it is a good example, I know it's a shooter. Don't get me wrong, Chivalry is awesome, but it needs that competitive end game like CSGO. They could damn near duplicate what CSGO did and this game would explode in popularity. A true ranking system like CSGO did if they want to keep the community strong. Once you level and have some fun, you may as well move on to some other game like most people do.
